BREEAM Recognises PAS 402

In February 2018 BREEAM launched NC 2018 as the New Construction Standard. The Waste Section ( section 10) now includes PAS 402 compliant waste management as a requirement for an Exemplary Level Credit and the definition includes reference to Green Compass as an example of evidence required to confirm compliance with PAS 402. This is a significant step forward for Green Compass and reinforces our belief that there will continue to be an increasing demand for scheme membership.

In addition Xavier Ramon of Green Living Space in Barcelona has initiated a dialogue with LEED (which is the American equivalent of BREEAM ) to make LEED aware of PAS 402 and its seemingly unique position in published European standards - watch this space !!!
